Building Champions On and Off the Field

Purpose & History

Bombers baseball was started in effort to provide Little League players within the Ypsi-Arbor American Little League district the opportunity to develop and compete in travel baseball at an affordable cost strengthening the overall competitiveness of the league and its District teams and retaining players that are seeking a higher level of competition for themselves.

The purpose of the team is to develop players year round through additional access to indoor training facilities, local tournaments, scrimmages, etc. Bombers teams are competitive, tryout teams that will compete in weekend tournaments in addition to their YALL spring baseball team. Players that are selected to a team will begin practicing together in the fall and then begin a full winter training program with indoor practices and skill development opportunities.

In the spring season, Bombers teams will participate in a combination of KVBSA league play and/or tournaments in the Southeast Michigan area. Last year our 10U team played 14 KVBSA games (7-7) and 3 tournaments, and the 9U team played 12 KVBSA games (9-3) and 2 tournaments This will coincide, but not interfere with, the YALL regular season.

Our registration fee is typically between $700 and $1,000. Players that participate will receive Bombers team uniforms, indoor winter training facilities access, and skills training. Registration fee for winter practice only players will be at a reduced cost. Overall, Bombers players play a lot of baseball and gain experience for a very competitive cost.
